Cromford's Ally Law launched the weekend's festivities at the Community Centre on Friday evening.
She is pictured with Mole Vessey, Chairman of the CC committee, and (right) conducting the award winning DaleDiva chorus.

The Baileans womens' hockey team pulled the 8ton Fowler Tiger traction engine from the Community Centre to the Bell Inn on Cromford Hill. Built in 1917 and weighing 8 tons, the engine belongs to Dave and Sue Cope of Cromford.

Pisani Ltd, marble importers, held an open day at their site on the A6 at High Peak Junction.
The Orthodox chapel, converted from a field barn, is beautifully decorated inside.

Children in Georgian costume led by Peter Arkwright's Company of Volunteers marched to the Community Centre, where they pledged allegiance to George III.
